Climate of Hungary

Hungary is in the Central Europe in the Carpathion Basin.
Our country is in the temperate zone and has a continental climate.
This means that the weather is quite easily predictable.
The weather is rather changeable in spring. It often rains but sometimes it’s
quite warm and sunny. The temperature is usually between
12-20°C.
Summer is usually hot and dry. Sometimes there are
big storms with thunder and lightning or even hail.
The early autumn is usually quite warm but later it is rather cold and rainy.
It is usually rather cold but some winters are quite mild with no snow. It’s often foggy and the roads are slippery.
