Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Poland!!!

In Polish schools we celebrate Christmas on the last day at school before Christmas. This year it was on 22nd December. We gather in the gym and listen to Christmas carols, in the classrooms we have Christmas Eve dinner with many traditions: holy wafer, some traditional dishes with fish and poppy seed and ginger bread. Additionally with some fruit. And of course we sing carol then.

Unfortunately we couldn't take part in the videoconference, but we sang Christmas wishes for you and a Christmas carol in Polish.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 TO ALL OF YOU FROM STUDENTS AND TEACHERS OF SP9 DZIERŻONIÓW, POLAND!
