Sports Race of Friendship

Sunday, April 15, 2012 with many other pupils in the Primary School of Rionero in Vulture, we participated at a sportive meeting about friendship. I have performed some tests in karate.
What is karate?
Surely you have heard.
Karate is a martial art of Japanese origin, practiced with his bare hands, which strengthens the body and spirit.
It is based on the following moral principles:
 - Kansei ni Hitotsu Jinkaku tsutomuru koto - Karate is a means to improve the character -
Hitotsu makoto no michi or Mamoru koto - Karate is a way of sincerity -
Hitotsu no doryoku seishin or yashinau koto - Karate is a means of strengthening the steadfastness of spirit -
Reigi or omonzuru koto Hitotsu - Karate is a means to learn the universal respect -
Hitotsu no yu or Kekki imashimuru koto - Karate is a way of acquiring self-control
The exercise of karate involves the use of a suit specific, called karate-gi, composed of a jacket, a pair of trousers (zubon) of white cotton and by a belt (obi) . In addition to the specific term "karate-gi," the suit can also be generically called "keiko" or "doges", while, contrary to popular belief, completely wrong, is the word "kimono".
The belt in karate indicates the degree of skill attained by the practitioner, attested by appropriate investigations . The colors of the belts are seven, corresponding to different levels of "kyu (= child)" and "dan (= adult)":
 - 6 th kyu: White Belt
 - 5 th kyu: yellow belt
 - 4 th kyu: orange belt - 3 rd kyu: Green Belt
 - 2 nd kyu: blue belt - 1 st kyu: Brown Belt
 - 1 st dan black belt - 2 nd dan black belt
 - 3 rd dan black belt
 - 4 th dan black belt
- 5 th dan black belt
 - Black Belt (or white-red) 6 th dan
 - Black Belt (or white-red) 7 th dan
 - Black Belt (or white-red) 8 th dan
- Black Belt (or red) 9 th dan
- Black Belt (or red) 10 th dan
