Maria Skłodowska-Curie was born in 1867 in Warsaw in Poland. Her parents were teachers. She studied physics, chemistry and mathematics at the Sorbonne in Paris (the University of Paris). She was the first person honored with two Nobels Prizes - in physics and chemistry. She discovered two elements, polonium and radium. Radium was very important beacuse of it's radioactivity. She died in France in 1934 at the age of 66.

Beggars invented the cigarette in 16th century, in Sevilla. They begun to take leaves of tobacco from the floor. They grinded that leaves and warped them with rice paper. This practice was exported to the rest of the world by spanish sailors.
