Mother's day is celebrated on the first Sunday in May in Spain.
Every year pupils of Miguel de Cervantes School make some handcrafts for their mums.
This years, pupils in the 2nd cycle, 3rd and 4th classes, helped by their teachers Belén, Inmaculada and Misi, have made beautiful bracelets for their mums with recycled materials: bottle tops of cokes and ribbons of different colours.
Written by Belén, the Art teacher.

Recycling old newspapers
In our school we are particularly sensitive to the issue of recycling and environmental protection. One way is to use old materials to create art works. Using old newspapers, we achieved:
It seems strange, but the chair is very comfortable and we do compete to sit down when teachers allow us
an autumn tree
a clown
and an armchair.
It's Autumn
We are now in late autumn. The leaves are almost all already allen, and most of the trees in our country is bare. Picking up some fallen leaves, and a wet sponge in the tempera paints of the various colors of autumn, we pupils of class II E have created this beautiful poster.
