European Football Championship



From 8 June to 1 July 2012 will be held on the fourteenth edition of the UEFA European Football Championship, or Euro 2012, also known as the Poland-Ukraine 2012. The winner of the competition will be eligible to participate in the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 in Brazil.

Qualifying




Poland and Ukraine were admitted to the final round as host nations. The other fourteen teams were selected through a qualification of 248 meetings attended by 51 national between 11 August 2010 and November 15, 2011.
The 14 teams participating will be:

Holland
England
Russia
Greece
Denmark
France
Sweden
Croatia
Czech Republic
Ireland
Portugal

Stadiums
The list of the eight cities that will host matches by UEFA European Championship 2012 was formalized at a meeting in Bucharest May 14, 2009, stating that each of the two nations can count on  to four stadium.
The stadium in which the finals will be played are

PGE Arena Gdansk Gdansk, Poland
Stadion Miejski Poznan, Poland
Olympic Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine

Last Wednesday my students started working on Euro 2012 stadiums. You did it very well. We are ery proud the Euro Championship will take place in Poland. We all love football.
