Constitution Day in Poland

Contitution Day we celebrate on the third of May – that's because on 3rd May 1791 the first constitution in Poland and in Europe was signed by Stanislaw August Poniatowski the last king of Poland and Stanislaw Malachowski. The constitution was created for four years by Polish Parliament.

Every year in Poland we celebrate it as a very important patriotic festival. It's a bank holiday in Poland. On 2nd May we celebrate the Flag's Day. At school before these festivals an assembly takes place to remember our Polish May Festivals.
