Lousã is a small town situated in the centre of Portugal in a very beautiful mountainous region. The fauna and flora are very diverse; one can find pine trees, acacias and eucalyptus. There are many types of birds, trouts and veals. Trevim is the highest point in Lousã mountain range (1200 m ).
